How it Works
Teams are generally composed of one team leader (someone has completed at least one semester site and knows the ropes) and two learners from the same Sunday school class or department as their team leader. This type of team formation is important because there will be occasions to visit members of the team's Sunday school class to meet a need or to visit potential members for their class.
Teams return to the at 8:30 PM for a celebration time with team members sharing the exciting aspects of the evening's visits.
Been There, Done That? If you've
already been trained in FAITH, there's more in store for you.
Not only are you needed as a team leader, but there are other discipleship
opportunities available. For returning FAITH participants we will be offering an eight week course on FAITH and Prayer. The advanced FAITH track will begin at 6:30 following the beginners Basic track.
Summing Up FAITH
encompasses eight weeks of training. It is our desire that everyone
who starts FAITH finishes FAITH. Your performance is not
what qualifies you. Being FAITHful to the finish does. If you have
to miss a week or two, your team leader will help you get caught up with
missed assignments. This is a team effort to glorify God and advance the
kingdom while strengthening the body . There is no higher calling of service
for the Christian.
No Fear
The Fall Faith Track begins August 8th-September 26th. For more information,

Teaching
time begins at 6:00 PM as everyone goes to their appropriate level
of instruction. FAITH Basic training is taught
by Pastor Mike. Teams come together at 7:00 PM to make the final preparations
for the evening planned visits. The next hour and a-half is on-the-job
training as Divine appointments for evangelistic and ministry opportunities.
For the first semester, "learners" watch and listen as the team leaders
give most of the FAITH presentation. 
Many say they
are afraid to witness, but FAITH is one of the best ways to learn
how. You are given the method, you don't have to go it alone, and the
vast majority of visits you make will be members and/or people who have
already visited Lakeview. It cannot get any easier than that! Have FAITH you can do it! Pray, pray, pray! See what God will do as you follow Him
as a "Fisher of Men."
